As I mentioned the DX168 stage box handles this situation much better.
What is more the Behringer X32 handles switch off much better than SQ.
I understand that this problem can’t be solved on already purchased mixers, but the AH engineers should consider this in the future.
Yes, I can handle it, but it is not fit for this cool mixer.2020/08/20 at 2:33 pm #94249When I am on the FX page and I push the library button, several effects show up, including the unavailable plugins, and all are selectable, and I can choose the presets as well, but when I push recall, I got a message “Add-on not available”.
I should see only the available presets, or at least see somehow which is available and which is not.2020/08/20 at 2:23 pm #94248Behringer has more colors by having inverse colors (black background and colored text).
If I understand well the LCD hardware has this limitation.
Do the four bits means this below?
Red – on/off
Blue – on/off
Green – on/off
White – on/off
Do you plan to change the number of possible colors from 8 to 16?
Everybody could decide which color is useful, which is not …2020/08/20 at 1:45 pm #94246Thank you for the idea!
On the other hand, if the customers are important for a company, the company will create a better user experience, because many customers won’t complain, just try to find better experience somewhere else.2020/08/20 at 1:33 pm #94244At least on the real desk.
2020/08/20 at 1:30 pm #94243Hi SteffenR,
Yes, it is a very simple solution, and I heard about it several years ago. 🙂
Unfortunately, it is not always so simple (power outage, installations, etc.) and I ask about the reason, why it is so rough on this mixer, and why not on DX168? I hope you can understand my point of view. I am very satisfied with DX behavior and I suggest to apply a similar solution in mixers.
It could help with lots of situations, where the customers are not professional users, I could use one switch to switch off the system, etc.

2020/08/20 at 12:24 pm #94232Hi,
Good idea, I wanted to suggest a similar thing.
A, B, C softkey banks, one key for shifting between banks (show them with different colors on the button)
This way I could use 3*7=21 softkey functions (+1 bank select).

White – on
Should work well in my opinion2020/08/20 at 12:07 pm #94228Hi,
Of course, I don’t know your software architecture and drawbacks.
I have almost 30 years of engineering and IT background, and I just want to help you to improve this great mixer.
Especially the software part, because the user experience is crucial for success and sowtware is more flexible than HW.
I think this suggestion is valid, maybe you can discuss it with your colleagues.
BR, Gábor2020/08/20 at 11:47 am #94225Hi,
I would like to understand why the present A&H solution is better, then the suggested one?
What are the use cases of the present solution? This is an ordinary use case, I usually have:
Usually, I mute every channel by mute group, but sometimes somebody wants to speak into one of the mic on the stage.
Musicians already started to disassemble/reassemble, this is why I don’t want to unmute the mute group, just only one channel. It would be very useful if I can configure this behavior on the mixer.

2020/08/20 at 10:47 am #94216Hi,
I understand, that AH can’t change TRS/XLR plugs on SQ, because it needs HW redesign.
On the other hand, there are several use cases (Electronic music, rehearsal, etc.), where it could be useful.
I have an idea about it.
Is it possible (by firmware update) to make ST1 and ST2 configurable as four mono channels?BR, Gábor
2020/08/20 at 10:13 am #94215Hi .@mfk0815 and .@SteffenR,
Could you give us some information about this feature request?
16 color palette is possible? What are the limitations of the hardware?
These are RGB LEDs? Does the hardware enable the fine-tuning of the colors?
The current 8 (5 usable) colors are an uncomfortable limitation, especially compared to the competitors.
More and better colors could help a lot.Best Regards, Gabor
