I was told by a A&H tech guy they are testing a new firmware and channel naming is included.

I’m not assuming anything, only making a suggestion as this is the forum for such discussions.

I use my QU24 with Cubase 5. Working perfectly. Overdubs are super easy. Just point the cubase channel at whatever QU channel your mic is plugged into. Go to the Cubase mixer and turn of the little Monitor speaker button (above record button) and monitor the vocal take from the QU channel that’s going to the box.
