Thanks Everyone,
Yes Stix and Scott. Yes I can easily move strips about so it’s no big problem in the great scheme of things. I’d just hoped it would recognise how things should be. Finicky old bu**er
Thanks Gents for your replies. I can confirm that the software in both desks is current. An example of just one annoying problem encountered is: If I’ve set up input channels 1 – 20 across the 112 on Layer A and save to a memory stick and then attempt to load this into the 80, it will only show inputs 1 – 12. I realise there are physically less faders on the surface of the 80, but I had hoped that the remaining channels 13 – 20 would’ve appeared on Layer B. This does not happen.??
Apologies to GCumbee for predictive text mis-spelling your name.
Hi Chris. Thanks very much. A very good and useful tip and very well written. It made complete sense to an old analogue man!
Thanks again
That sounds interesting Chris. Could I trouble you for a bit more detail of how you actually set this up please. Gumbo’s idea works as does insert on a single channel or mix. Thanks
Old english colloquial term used instead of, and imho better than, mate, pal, buddy, mac etc
Thank you squire
Hi Mike,
I’ve sorted out the problem now, not by uninstalling/reinstalling iPad app, but by downloading GLD V1.5 software on to a completely clean memory stick and installing in to GLD 112 with satis results.
Why it worked ok on my GLD 80 and not the 112 I don’t know but happily all is well. Thank you for your offer of support
I too am having problems with iPad unable to work. I’ve just upgraded software on gld80 and 112 to v1.5. The 80 and iPad work fine. When I try the 112 like other users, I get to admin/login and it goes to please wait. If I go to network on 112 it appears to acknowledge connection, but the app stays on please wait. I’ve tried removing app and reinstalling several times but to no avail.
Any clues please?
