Thanks, I will probably later buy something like DX168 but in the meentime I could buy Qu for extra inputs but would need an extra Ipad to control the preamps. Everything else I could control in the SQ
Isn’t trim level = preamp? Regardless, there is no trim level for the sorce it self. It is clipping on the lvel meter in “Utility – SQ Drive – Stereo Playback” Then it is sending the distorted signal to the USB channel where it is not clipping.
okey thank you it works now. But I have another problem now… when playing it distorts as hell! It does not help to lower the preamp on USB track. It is distorting right in the stereo player. It is not clipping in studio one and I have tried to export it at a much lower volume but it does not help.
Yeah I have the same problem
I have used DCA’s before and they work fine as expected. But DCA’s are not really groups you can put on EQ, compressor and that sort of stuff. DCA’s are just a master fader for multiple channels without having to route anything to anything… very straigtforward.
But when having for example 10 vocal mic’s or drum mics, it is very time comsuming to EQ and Compress them individually insted of EQ-ing and Compressing a master-group and then tweak the individual channels.
That’s the reason for wanting to use groups and not DCA’s
At least to my knowlage everything seems normal until i go to edit the new control surface and it’s emty… it dosn’t show any parameters to assign / edtit (whatever you call it)
What exactly did you do? I have alredy dowloaded the drier v1.6. Or were you trying to imply something else from the link?
I tried that but it didn’t work…but because I only got my SQ yesterday I did a hard reset and that solved it…but in the future that might not be the best solution if it happens again. (so I don’t lose everything I have done)
