OK, got it now.
I think I’ve got enough control using the Post-Preamp setting you pointed out earlier.2016/11/22 at 10:29 am #59458Tell me more pls…not really following what you mean there?
2016/11/21 at 3:42 pm #59450Alternatively, I could just use the Audio Out on the VRX918SP as the HPF at 80Hz but I’d like to try playing around with the HPF on the QU-SB.
Also means it’s one less level of processing that the signal feeding the tops has to go through.
2016/11/21 at 3:24 pm #59449Hi,
The system is a pair of active RCF TT25A ii and single JBL VRX918SP.
I know the system is ‘undersubed’ so to speak but it’s for pub rock in small/medium sized rooms (100 people). I rely a good bit on the natural kick drum and bass backline and don’t run very bass heavy mix.
The RCF’s have an inbuilt 100Hz HPF.
The Sub has either 80Hz or 120Hz LPF. I want to run the sub at 80Hz and get the RCF’s down more into that range by not using the onboard HPF and using the QU-SB HPF settings on each relevant input. I’m basically only using the sub to take some of the load off the tops to maintain a bit of headroom (the RCF tops go very hard if required).
I know the QU-SB isn’t a loudspeaker processor though…just trying things out…

I didn’t actually see that one yet.

2016/11/21 at 1:50 pm #59440Also, when you say “refer to page 40”, what document do you mean?
I have only found this for the QU=App so am I missing something.

2016/11/21 at 1:41 pm #59439Ah, great!
So just to clarify, if I choose Post-Preamp then it will send the signal without any HPF settings (as well as without any PEG settings)
I’m actually trying to cobble together an Aux send for a sub.

2016/11/11 at 9:46 am #59229Out of interest, I managed to connect an iPad and Android tablet at the same time yesterday. It was possible to get the Android app to display the more detailed RTA on channels while still doing the main control work via the iPad app. Not ideal, but useful if you’re in the house where using two tablets isn’t a complete nightmare.
2016/11/09 at 3:40 pm #59172Hint for RTA and PEQ display…
2016/11/09 at 1:24 pm #59168I’ve been using the QU-SB for a few weeks and can’t believe A&H haven’t figured out a better way to better display the RTA and GEQ (and PEQ even) on the QU App. I see it was mentioned a few posts above.
The current RTA on the GEQ screen is probably only useful for ringing out mics for feedback?
The Android App does it better but the iPad App is better for everything else so is my default App.
2016/11/04 at 1:46 pm #59088A bit of an extreme solution but Thomann in Germany would ship them to you!

2016/11/03 at 5:41 pm #59070Really, it’s amazing they aren’t there yet as a pretty important item..
2016/11/02 at 3:35 pm #59040That case looks exactly like this ‘Spider’ branded one here in the UK. I think that will do nicely.
2016/11/02 at 11:20 am #59038@GaryW – Hopefully you can work something out with that SKB as it’s a nice looking case.
@[XAP]Bob – Do you mean install spacers so the QU-SB rack mount ear are screwed in from the back of the flightcase rails to gain the extra 10mm or so?
2016/11/01 at 5:51 pm #59011Interesting solutions. Do you have any photos?
