xDR-16 problem

    Hi!

    I have 2 xDR-16 and one of them is working fine but the other one is not showing up as an expander but I do get audio from that expander (when i patch port B on my iDR) but I can not control the preamp.

    I guess there is a problem with the “network” in the xDR?

    anyone who might have a clue?

    Hi Barni,

    Did you set either xDR to a different IP address before connecting? The two xDRs must use unique IP addresses, default is 192.168.1.20 so you can set the other to 192.168.1.21 for example.

    Have you tried ‘inspecting’ and adding the expander manually in the Expander Setup screen?

    Also what ACE mode is your iDR set to (Port A/B Setup screen in Mixer Preferences)?

    The problem is that the xDR don´t show at all so I can not see any IP.
    Yes inspecting don´t help.
    I have tried both single 1-64 and dual 1-32 33-64 and nothing.

    I would try the Network Reset on the second xDR. Then change IP address on the first (working) xDR via the Network screen. Plug in the second xDR again. If that doesn’t help, please contact our local distributor for assistance or submit a ticket to our UK Support team here.
