Is there a clear advantage in deploying a cat 6 direct cable to my I-pad for controlling a CQ20b. unlike the daily wifi problems posted in these threads, I have not read much in the way of eithernet problems?

I only ever had a problem with Bluetooth when it was interfered with by the 2.4GHz WiFi. Since changing to 5.8GHz WiFi, I have not had a problem. However I do have the adapter to allow my iPad to connect via Ethernet.
I also have not seen any problems with the WiFi on the CQ18/20, either on here or elsewhere online. I have found it rock solid with the exception that you have to login again if using other apps on the iPad.
CQ20B here had some dropout issues over wifi. Since the CQ20B was on the ground it was an unreliable connection. I ran a wifi extension cable to the ceiling which helped however I eventually connected ethernet to a port on my AP in the room and have had 0 issues since.
In my setup I am running wireless IEMs and wireless mics which I’m sure contributed to the OTA issues I was experiencing.
