    I have this same problem in PT10 and Ableton Live 8. I record in through local source and for playback have to switch the source to USB. I can playback just fine but once I hit the stop button it sounds like a machine gun shooting off little noise bullets of the last note played when I pressed the stop button. I’m running the QU-16 on a MacBook Pro with a 2.5 GHz processor and 8G of Memory. This happens on both MacBooks that I use (Home and Practice Studio). Any help is greatly appreciated.
