Solo Button automatic volume boost when selected?

Does the solo button on CQ18 automatically add a bit of a volume boost? It’s appearing that it does, unless I’m missing something. Not a problem, just want to know.

According to the bloc diagram, the PFL (pre-fader Listen) is taken before the fader for any channel.
So yes there is a difference of level depending how is set you fader.

So if the channel fader and master fader are at nominal, and all processing is bypassed there shouldn’t be a difference, is that right? I did all that and still hearing a boost.

So after checking I confirm that I have no boost with PFL engaged if fader is set to 0dB.
