It would be great to be able to save whatever page I am on with a hotkey by pressing and holding any soft key- similar to Yamaha’s keys
2023/11/02 at 11:59 am #116221KeithJ A&HModeratorPlease add a +1 here for SQ bookmark
There are a few threads, but I think this is the most popular one, so the best to add to.
Thanks,
Keith.2024/08/12 at 12:57 pm #124640SQuserParticipantSorry, Keith, if I’m probably the bad guy again. 😉
We all know that of course there is no right to get more features for free and – I’ve mentioned it before – some people would even like to pay for them.
But it’s almost a bit strange when you link to a thread about a suggestion of such a small feature, at almost 6 years old, is almost as old as the SQ itself.
How many more years or additional “+1″s does a suggestion like this need for A&H to start thinking about whether they’ll implement something like that “in the future”?2024/08/12 at 3:43 pm #124648KeithJ A&HModeratorIt just needs more +1’s than all the other features!
We consider all the suggestions here with the most interest, along with feedback from dealers and distribution partners.
If we could do everything and satisfy every single user, we would, but as it is, we have to prioritise and that means we can’t do everything – even if it is possible.
In this case with ‘bookmarks’ it’s something that’s been on the list for a while, but never had the most +1’s from every corner, so has never made it high enough to be added. Thanks,

This thread shows this again, because your answer also suggests that you only count the “+1” in what is probably the most frequently visited thread on the topic, but not in the one that appeared parallel to it.There is no functioning search function at all with which you can search specifically for a feature of a corresponding model.
See my post #123708:
> I can’t search for a topic, only for entries.
> And I can’t just search in the SQ forum, for example.
> So if I search for “sq matrix”, I currently get 292 entries – nobody will want to search through all of them.
> If I search for “sq matrix increase”, however, I only get 8 entries, but not even the current one in the SQ forum with the title “Increase the number of Matrix”. (And further:
If I log in correctly and want to answer something here, I end up in what feels like 50% of all cases in a dialog where the forum doubt that I am a human, I have to enter my email address over and over again and have to solve an addition problem such as “5 + 4” that a robot even without AI could solve these days. Then I get the red counter-question just as often whether “Error! Are you sure you wanted to do that?”.
But my answer has long since disappeared from the displayed answer window and if I haven’t copied it prophylactically beforehand, I have to start writing it again.Sometimes my answer doesn’t appear in the thread after I send it.
If I repeat the entry, I am red warned: “Error: Slow down; you move to fast.”, even though I am sitting there completely still.
And/or “Error: Duplicate reply detected; it looks as though you’ve already said that.” – even though my post has not been published.
Then I have to think of something new to outsmart the forum’s lack of logic.
Sometimes it works – but sometimes it doesn’t.Then the structure is not (anymore) correct:
When I want to look at topics started by a member, only the first page works – the link on page 2 is already wrong. (see pictures).
The same thing happens with the replies created.
Who forgot to add “forums/replies/” to the URL?Many users are active here to help improve or better understand A&H’s products.
But, sorry, using such an inadequate system as a basis for product development is really very questionable.Attachments:

to be honest, I think this whole forum section “SQ Feature Suggestions” is currently kind of funny… and for my opinion there is absolutly no need, to post something here. Why? Last feature update for SQ was years ago. Either the platform is “dead” regarding updates, then its forlorn hope to post ideas here. Or – as Keith says – there will be an update somewhere in the future, then we have collected so many suggestions here in the past years, nothing more is needed. And A&H will also have own ideas, as they have shown with Dlive 2.0 and CQ series.
And to be honest — if there will ever be an update, I have to admit, its not really important for me, what will be in. Of course there are some features which would be really interesting, but to be honest, more than feature updates I would wish bugfixes for existing really annoying bugs…
Best Regards,

There are so many questions from new users here, but it is too tedious for me to participate more actively here because of the forum software. On the other hand, I can understand A&H, it looks like resources are very limited. After all, it took years for the products on the homepage to get a standardised design.
We have to be patient…2024/08/15 at 1:51 pm #124768RSParticipantThe feature request system. Something that was discussed over in the dLive section, but I can not link to right now, as of the broken search function.
Conclusion of that discussion was (at least for me): there is a lot of users (me included), that don’t feel very invited by the system as is.2024/08/15 at 10:58 pm #124777SQuserParticipantThank you – it’s good that I’m not the only one.

That would of course be the most important thing.> it is too tedious for me to participate more actively here because of the forum software.

Let’s hope that things get better soon and this system matches the good products again.
