Send output of Line recorder to Mix

Hi..Im new to sq 6
i want to record the service in to sony line pcm recorder via an xlr cable.
the cable is connected to output number 14
how can i get this output to the mix (ex number 6) so i can control the channel faders?
i need step by step instructions please

first of all to get to some common ground — have you watched the official tutorial videos? Your question is covered there:

Push the IO Button under the screen.
Select the “output” tap on the left.
Select “local” on the top

Patch the wanted connection between output-bus on the left, and output socket on the top of the matrix
