If you want specific advice, you have to give specific information. so…

Please post a channel list of what’s now plugged into each and every channel. Then post another list of the devices you’d like to add in order of priority.

    Ok, I have a few spare line in’s (3)

    1 – 6 synth
    7 – spare
    8 – synth
    9 – 14 synths
    15 – 16 spare
    17 – 22 synth
    23 – 30 drum machine
    30 – 32 synth

Preference to have two Eventide H9’s to have as sends over 32/29 channels. Also drum
Machine L&R TRS out as distorion/compressor send over 32/29 channels.

Take two TRS>TRS cables and connect your drum machine to the line inputs of channels 15/16. Link the channels and pan hard L/R.

Be sure to look both ways before crossing the street…

    You’re done.

Thanks Dick, but how exactly do I then assign these then to say 28 channels as a send effect?

This is going to sound condescending- sorry about that.

Have you read the manual? I find the block diagrams really useful, but the routing section is probably also needed.

You possibly need to “think analogue” and trace the signal, checking its level and sound every place you can.

Please don’t run away from here because of my comment.

Bob! I’m not running away that easily as I’m not that easily offended lol 😂

Yes, I have the manual printed off, I have all 32 channels running with H9 effects. Just need to tweak levels as I have not been by the desk for a couple of days!

    Phew 😉

It’s several racks of kit in the QU, so it can take a bit of getting used to where everything is. You’ve got the loops working though – that’s good 🙂
