Hello,
I’m running a legacy version of pro tools 8 (002), running osx 10.6.8.
I want to use the qu16 as my audio Input and basically use it as a mix pre.
I can see the qu16 in my osx system audio preferances connect via usb but I can’t see the qu16 anywhere in protools, it didn’t show up in PT under setup>hardware>peripherals. I can see it under setup>peripherals>synchronization>MTC reader port option qu16, midi out.
So pro tools is seeing it, but all I want is to use the qu16 to track into pro tools le 8. I dont see it in the setup>I/O. Is there a limitation in pro tools le8 running 002 hardware that I forgot about that doesn’t allow me to select the qu16 as an input? Or is there a setting I’m forgetting in th e core audio section? Do I need a driver for this old osx?
I need some help getting the audio into pro tools. I’m at a recording session right now so any help would be great.
Protools 8LE does not support the QU as audio device
