Tagged: Stagebox
Hey,
im currently working with SQ-Products, but planning to buy a CQ18T.
Is there any possibilty to connect a stagebox as DX168 (or smth. else) with the CQ18T except for using a multicore?
I want to use it on a FOH place, which doesnt seem possible to me because i would have to lay XLRs or mutlicore-cables to the stage.
Thanks for your help
Greetings
Tom
No. Stage boxes/audio racks are not supported with CQ.
I have SQ-7 + Stagebox. While I like my Allen & Heaths , I have progressed from MixWizard 16:2 to QU-24 to SQ-7. In my experience every time, I bought a A&H, the next month A&H announced it’s new product range. It happened to me when I bought my QU-24, within a week the SQ was announced.
I now have a MIDAS MR-18 (as there was nothing similar to SQ available at that time, but within a week CQ was announced), that I want to sell and buy the CQ20. But wondering, are there any New Products waiting to be announced by A&H. Don’t want to buy the CQ and then realize that there is a similar platform that now supports Stagebox.
Just buy a different product.
Dont buy a product designed to be a highly mobile & budget option and try to suggest it shoukd be something else.
I am not suggesting the product should be something else. But wanted to know, if there is a published product roadmap from Allen & Heath. Just helps us spend better.
