Password and the Factory Reset

I don’t understand why the factory reset, also delete the mixer’s password? I will suggest that the master password should not be deleted, for this will deter people from stealing and selling what it does not belong to them. We should have another mechanism for resetting the master password. Otherwise, what is the relevance of having a master password, when it can just be deleted by a quick factory reset?
