A mic preset may correct for the basic response curve of the mic, but it does not take into account the “anomalies” introduced by the application. As Dick says, it is best to make your own, which will take into account factors such as the degree to which proximity effect occurs, the frequency response of the source (vocalist or instrument), and the acoustics of the environment – room and speakers. All of these interact in a way that dictates what adjustments need to be made to the mic signal.
You will need a different preset for each different application where the mic is used.
