Main mix routing

Hi,

I’d have a brief question: is there a chance to add the main mix to monitoring mixes (Aux)? Or is it possible to route one monitoring mix to one or more others? Some of my band members want to hear the main mix and in addition some more of particular channels (please: do not discuss whether this makes sense or not – I am just the baseman and technician that has to solve this :-).

Hi Peter,
I know some folks use a matrix mix for this very thing. They set up an aux mix with only the “some more of particular channels” stuff and then combine that mix with the main mix in a matrix mix, and send that matrix mix to their in ears. Then they only adjust the original aux mix for “more me”.

You could just send everything to the aux mixes at unity post-fade, and bring up the individual channels the band members want to hear more of?
