I really would love to have possibility to route IEM, WEDGE and PAFL busses where ever I want like to channel inputs, matrixes and so on.
At the moment I hook up mic lead between surfaces AES input and output lines to make this possible which I feel pretty darn awkward at the era of digital consoles.

Sometimes I simply don’t have surface at front of me and I have to survive with Director and iPad and Mixrack is already full.

    Oh wait Why?
Because I want to have some of talkbacks only to my ears (my lead signer, walkie-talkies) and some others also to wedge (FOH tb to stage) and possibility to make balanced mix out of everything. I also use ducker in my ears so when someone speaks to me ducker attenuates my IEM bus signal by 20db or so.

    Cheers!

    +1000
I too have to use aes in and out to route pafl to a matrix.
Without the surface i have to use 2xlrs and analog loopback on the rack.

Is it still not possible to route pafl to a matrix ?

    thnx!

PAFL is actually nowadays possible to pick up as a source, but I still need extrenal AES Out to AES In connection because there is no internal patch possibility for IEM and Wedge outputs which would be very lovely feature to have.
