hi,help me to how setting from my pc windows to qu for play multitrack audio for virtual ,currenly im using cockos reaper trial.
Hi.
Reaper works fantastic with QU
The Trial version is the full blown version, just not yet paid for and Reaper is a very good price compared to other sotware.
You need to follow the instructions for installing the A&H windows Asio drivers!
Then to save you a lot of learning time if you look at this post [https://community.allen-heath.com/forums/topic/usb-pc-windows-question/page/2/#post-39405 ] there is a link to a simple reaper template at the Cockos forum under the name dhakNZ.
Download the Reaper Template link and so long as you have Reaper set up and midi channel set on your QU16 centre “custom strip or layer” and you have the USB streaming set correctly per channel. It should work when you click on the reaper template.
Remember its only a “basic start point for you”
I use Reaper professionally
cheers

Hi Sam,
so i need to change it to hui protocol?and run this setup.
No, it looks to me as you are following the instructions for the DAW Control OS X driver (Mac only). There isn’t such a tool for Windows unfortunately. You can still get MIDI messages from the Qu but you’ll have to assign these manually (or try Dave’s template as a starting point), not via the Control Surfaces menu.
Hope this helps.
DAW controll works from dhakNZ keymap, but how to make it bidirectional?
