Having a "mix" follow the L-R

Hello all. I am the front man in a three piece. I run the sound as I am performing. I would like my monitor mix in front of me to be exactly what is going out the mains so that I hear what the audience is hearing. I also still want my monitor on its own mix send so I can control its volume separate from the mains. How do I do this?

You could set a mix to be post fade and set the fader sends to all the same level. If you have a matrix mix available assign the LR main to the matrix and the matrix out for your mix, assigned all the needed channels to a group, unassigned that group from the mainLR mix and use the group out.
