    A couple hours in now. Now effects are processing thru the 1/4″ outputs.
    They do thru the mains, but no outs. I bet I tried everything several times. Read the manual 3 times

    @mistapuss

    Did you follow the ‘how to’ in the user guide? – https://www.allen-heath.com/media/CQ_User_Guide_V1_1_0_iss1.pdf#page=48&zoom=auto,-361,544
    It may be that you’re just missing the last step, where you need to choose where to send the signal from the FX unit.

    Thanks,
    Keith.

    @Buck

    You turned up the ‘Sends To Output#’ fader in the sends section of the FX channel in the processing screen?

    Thanks,
    Keith.

    So when you send an effect to an output you can only insert on that output you can’t share is that right? Also, if you insert it on a output say easy verb for example if you had that verb on the mains would that take it of the mains because you inserted it on say output one and now it’s not shared?
    Thanks for any input.

    I don’t think this “inserts” like you mean, one FX per insert point?
    An Fx engine can be added to any/all inputs to varying degrees, depending on your channel send to that fx.
    You can then send the fx master send to multiple outputs/mixes – you just have to add the fx return to the outputs you choose.
    Eg.
    Ch1 sent to Fx1.
    Fx1 returns to LR and mix outputs at independent (master send) levels.
    Any channels sending to fx1 will be heard in the fx1 return.
    You don’t have any way of changing your inputs fx balance per send – you just get a summed output per master send.
    Hope I’ve explained this properly!😉
