    Hey guys.

We have a cdm32 linked with a dx168 and the cdm32 has a 64×64 dante card in it. We have channels that we want to record with that are on the dx168, but it’s not showing up in dante controller. And it’s not working if say we assume channel 33 on dante is channel 1 on dx168.

Just thinking out loud. At what sample rate are you recording ? 64×64 is only when on 48kHz. Check your Dante settings.

    Howdy

The DX168 will not show up in the Dante controller, because it is not a Dante device.
You can route the DX168 inputs to Dante in the dLive routing window on the surface.

    bye

How are you patching in the dLive? You can patch using tie-lines or direct outs to the Dante card.

Ahh all good I got it. I figured out the tie lines and now just have the issue of protool license needing upgrades so we can have more then 32 in.

    Thanks all for your help.

the issue of protool license needing upgrades

You can use Reaper for recording and ProTools for later editing…

Nah all good we have a studio linked anyway so they want the upgrade.
