Audio RTL Interface Latency Values?

Anyone have RTL numbers for CQ mixers (specifically used with a M1 or M2 Mac, but other systems would still be helpful)

Thinking about purchasing if I can sell my old interface and use a CQ-20B for double mixer/audio interface duty, but wondering what minimum latency I could get running 96khz on 64 or 32 buffer on my MacBook Air M2.

The actual round trip latency is so dependent on the exact setup that we cannot provide a single or official figure.
But to give you some idea I’ve just carried out a quick test.

CQ-18T, Multitrack, 96kHz, M2 Mac, 64sample buffer, testing using RTL Utility routing USB to input 1 and returning from the Main LR (so note this figure also includes all internal processing).
= 7.2ms (total roundtrip)

I also confirmed before and afterwards that I could route signal from the computer, back out to a reverb in Live Professor and back in to a stereo channel without artifacts (mainly to show to myself that it was stable with at least one fairly chunky plugin running and not a useless figure!)

Any chance of getting those latency numbers down? Say via a kext on Macos?

Is it technically possible in the future to route an input to USB OUT, process it in a VST host and send it back again to the same input ?
Like the X32 does for example ?
