Hello,
i tried to use the Dante-Card for virtual sound check and recording but got some realy strange problems. The firmware of the card is V3.6.4 and i thing that ist the most actual version. But i have the following problems that i could not solve:
1) If i send signals of the DAW to the channels of the Card only channel 1-8 and 25-32 will receive signals. The other channels are dead.
2) No output is send from the GLD to the Dante virtual soundcard. I set up all output to direct out of the input channels. No audio.
I have a 01V96 with a Dante-Card installed. If i connect the outputs of the DAW to that channels all is running fine. So i thing the basic setup would be OK.
Can it be a hardware problem of the dante card?
Thank you for any help…

I assume that you are using it and all channels are being routed correctly? Also, the Dante Controller now indicates whether audio is being passed on a Dante Channel – very useful for trouble shooting.

All channels from the DVS are routed to the A&H channels. This way only the first 8 channels arrived in the GLD. I set up nothing special for the other channels.
Than i tried to set the output of the DAW to Channel 25-32. This channels also arrived in the GLD.I didn’t got any channel from the GLD into the DAW nor in the 01V. Nothing leaves the GLD. This was does not work at all.
When i’m back home, i will check the versions of all components. But im quite shure i checked it to be all up to date.

Good luck

The other direction GLD->DAW doesn’t have any signal on any channel.
I will send the DANTE-Card back to the dealer. I realy think it is a hardware problem.
If i get a new card i will post my experiences.
