    Would it be possible to add the ability to trigger playback of individual files on the USB drive from the soft keys. For example Key1 would trigger playback of file No.1, Key2 would trigger file No.2 etc.

    Why not use a connected device and map it over midi? …for instance, I’ll use Ableton Live to play cues occasionally, or qLab, Sometimes Live Professor. Or iTunes in a pinch. Easy to map any combo of midi/softkeys to iTunes controls using Osculator.
