Hi, I am processing vocal channels on SQ-6 with EQ and compression for FOH, but I would like to send un-processed, or at least not compressed etc.. version of the vocal channel to the stage floor monitors. Is using Tie-Lines to “map” the vocal channel to the AUX channel the right way, or the best way, of achieving what I want to do ? I’m actually using AB168 on stage for all inputs, but same principle as a local input I’m guessing.

    Thank you 🙂

Read chapter 8.2 of the manual and see flowchart for the 4 possible pickup points for aux sends.

    Got it.

    Thank you very much.

Though, most often the vocalist would like at least some compression on their voice. I’d give them that, and compress whatever more is needed on a subgroup.
