    Hello,

I’m wondering is there a way to make an FX send switchable, preferable with a soft key and/or a footswitch.
I rather not want to use scenes for it.

    Thanks in advance

What do you mean by switchable? Mutes? Assignments? Actual effect settings?

Mutes can be controlled via soft keys, Assignments and FX settings would need to be controlled by scenes, which could then be controlled by soft keys.

The idea is to mute the FX send of a specific channel with the footswitch or/ and with a soft key.

You can put the FX send master in a mute group but you can not mute the FX send
of a specific channel short of using a scene.

How many other channels share that same FX?

Maybe set up a specific FX for that one channel then you could mute that FX send
master with a mute group on a soft key

This can be done using MIDI…

    Another workaround,
You could duplicate the channel. Assign one to LR and not the FX and assign the other only to the FX. You could create a gang group to keep the channels the same for other parameters.
Then you could just mute the channel going to the FX using footswitch/softkey.
