SQ IO Question

Hey All.

I’m working on building a new portable system primarily for portable house of worship. Setup would be SQ5 and ideally a dx012 at 48k cascading into an ar2412 with room to utilize another ar84 if necessary to get up to 32 inputs at the stage and 28 outputs at stage (12 stereo IEMs, 4 pa outs), and keep 8-10 channels of wireless mic and playback devices in the FOH rack utilizing the onboard IO. Question is, can I cascade the dx012 into an ar2412, all off the native slink on the console so long as the dx012 is set in 48k and cascade modes?

No, you can’t.

As Tobi says, this is not possible, being that the SLink port could be in DX or dSnake mode, but not both at the same time.
