I’m at my wit’s end with this one. I’ve scoured every setting I can find and I can’t find anyone posting about the same issue.
I have an SQ-6 and a few weeks ago I realized that no matter what I PFAL, I can always hear channel 11.
I’ve toggled every relevant setting in setup/audio/PFAL. I’ve triple checked routing and the patch bay, both of which don’t seem to have any PFAL settings I can see. It happens on all scenes so it must be a base setting somewhere. The only thing I can think to try at this point is a factory reset, but before I do that I wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions

But everything was still fine before that?

PFL settings are saved in the show.
And you really didn’t accidentally set your channel 11 as “Ext in Source” in the menu mentioned?
Then you would always hear it – but the other selected PFLs could you hear as well.
I agree with SQUser – it is likely that channel 11 has been set as the “Ext IP Talk to PAFL” on the PAFL channel. Go to your Setup/Audio/PAFL menu to check this. You generally don’t want anything assigned to “Ext IP Talk to PAFL” unless you have a specific use case (like putting external coms into the PAFL) where you need a particular source to be heard in the PAFL at all times – regardless of what you have actually soloed on the console.
Well, that was it. The one thing I didn’t try changing. Thank you!
