I-pad loses connection, reconnect impossible

When we use the I-pad to operate the Qu-16 it reapeatedly loses connection. This is not a big problem in itsself if we would be able to reconnect, but to be able to reconnect we have to reboot both the Ipad as the QU-16. And that ìs a problem while mixing. Is anybody familiar with this problem (that rebooting before being able to reconnect is the only way to get back on track) and, more important, does anyone know how to fix this? I hope somebody can help us with this!

What are you using for the WIFI connection source and how is it configured.

– set up the mixer with static IP address.
– only use a 5g WIFI network, at this time there is less traffic on it and there
are more channel available.
– hide you WIFI SSID broadcast, try it with out security turned on.

Losing connection has never caused me the need re start the mixer to re gain
a WIFI connection.

Is the WIFI network the mixer is on used for anything else?
