New here and new to digital desks, and was hoping investing in a CQ 18t would be a good starting point.

Getting a “DDR fail” message that keeps popping up. Photo attached. Have turned off and turned on the unit several times.

    Any help appreciated. Be kind.

    Hi

Appologies, this forum wouldn’t let me upload the photo I took on my phone as the file was too large.

    This is the fault description:

    DDR fail RU:0 RO:0 FF:0 FE:0 C1

I have updated the firmware to the latest version – 1.1.1 r3684
I have also done a full factory reset.

Fault still showing. Channels won’t sent any adio to the Main L/R or to teh FX channels.

    Any help appreciated.

Take it back to your dealer and set up a warranty replacement.

DDR is the memory so there is probably little you can do about this so contact your dealer/reseller.

My unit had the same DDR calibration fail.

    My code was different.
    DDR fail RU:0 RO:0 FF:0 FE:1 C1

Also no audio from the main outs.
In my case, after 2 or 3 restarts it would pass the DDR calibration.

After contacting A&H they requested me to return the unit. Now the big waiting starts for a replacement.
