Additive PAFL when in exclusive mode

Having the option for additive or exclusive PFL is great, but sometimes you want to have an exclusive pafl mode and you suddenly need to have an additive pafl for a quick second. On other consoles this is done by holding the PAFL button of the first channel, then hitting all the other PAFL buttons of the channels you want to add and then as soon as you let go the first PAFL button you hit will reset all PAFL back to exclusive. It’s a great feature and very useful if it can be implemented

I like the idea, but it might be tricky or confusing to implement if some of the channels you want to add to PAFL are on a different layer.

Exactly what I was thinking. Love the idea of an easier way to switch between exclusive and additive though. Perhaps having an option in the List/Options/Name/Help area once something is in PAFL that would allow the swap or even allow a one-time additive PAFL until PAFL is cleared and then it would go back to exclusive.

Toggle with a soft key maybe?

Perhaps not quite as convenient as a soft key to toggle PAFL modes, but what about press-and-hold to add a channel to the PAFL selection? Takes a bit longer to select multiple channels, but doesn’t use up a softkey, and makes cross-layer selection easy.
