2018/02/20 at 3:01 pm #69058does anyone know/think they’ll release another firmware for the qu series?
i’d love proper sidechaining.
2018/01/31 at 7:45 pm #68586it looks like High Sierra 10.13 is now supported according to the new firmware’s release notes

2018/01/29 at 3:57 pm #68545is it not safe to update to high sierra?
2017/04/15 at 12:14 am #62896ah, i was thinking i could directly route daw audio to an output…then i had a head scratching moment before i realized i was using an aggregate device (outputs were pushed down a few channels).
for a moment, i was thinking i would have to give up recording a channel to output audio from my daw, but just changed a free input to usb b as opposed to local. then routed the audio to mix 1 (or you can just hit the mix view to change mix routings).
thanks for the helps Andreas and [XAP]Bob
2017/04/14 at 5:18 pm #62888btw, i also have an AR84 in case that might help my situation.
2017/04/14 at 5:04 pm #62887ok, so if i’m trying to route a channel from my daw to the QuPac, I set the channel within my daw to the mix output # i want outputted on the QuPac (let’s say output 1). do i then go into setup>i/o patch>usb audio and choose a number to be mix1? or do I choose a free input that I’ll route to mix output 1 via routing settings?
sorry, really struggling to make this happen.
2016/12/18 at 1:20 pm #59917i’m having these same issues, i’m going to try it again without wifi on and see if that helps.
2016/12/02 at 3:17 pm #59631Ah, I see what you mean. If you make any changes to your scene and there’s a power failure, it will turn back on with whatever the last settings were though it won’t be tied to a particular scene.
Is there a way to save the settings that you have when you restart your unit to an already existing scene? Let’s say I turn it on and I forget to load the scene that I’m currently working on but the scene that loads is the same scene, can you just saved that over another scene?
2016/11/16 at 2:55 pm #59354thanks, papromike. just moved from austin after living there for 10 years. i’m in touch with A&H and also supplied screenshots of my dSnake routing earlier in the thread.
i have a hunch that the firmware isn’t being sent to the AR from the QU. we shall see!
2016/11/15 at 11:39 pm #59348Hey Don,
I most definitely agree that it’s something to do with the firmware on each. From what I’ve read, the expander audio rack is “supposed” to download the firmware from the mixer, but I don’t know if that’s happening or not.
I’ve tried both firmware 1.82 and 1.90, but got nothing.
Thanks for being so responsive/helpful, Don! Really appreciate it.
Best,
Ian2016/11/15 at 3:22 pm #59341Yes, I’ve been in touch with A&H. They asked me to do a reset of the unit, which I did, but nothing resolved as of yet.
Just got in touch with the seller and they’re alsoo looking into it since they’re an A&H distributor
2016/11/15 at 2:43 am #59328i can confirm that the cat5 cables that i’m using are not crossover and are indeed patch cables. i’ve also tried a few different cables in case one was bad.
i also went with the older firmware and then back to the newest firmware (1.90). still nothing.
i really hope it’s a user error, i hate sending things back.
2016/11/14 at 11:00 pm #59322yup, test inputs/outputs with other known working cables, and still, nothing.
just tried a hard rest (hold reset+setup on boot), and still, nothing.
I think it’s time to file a return :-/
2016/11/14 at 1:10 am #59304Aye, I just checked the outs on it too and they’re a no go as well.
The guy was selling 3 units for $400 each. Still hoping there’s an easy fix, so I’ll report back on what A&H says.
