    Hello to all

The use of a mute group is relevant, but not for this situation. And in practice, a mute group is sometimes tricky. It seems to be the same for the DCA.

Indeed, the objective is to be able to mute the Room Mic at the same time as mute the band and vocal group. Using groups instead of DCA is voluntary. Unfortunately, there are still differences between the two that make me prefer groups.

It seems that what I was looking for is to be able to “gang” inputs and groups together. Is this possible?
If not… I’d probably use the gate option.

In windows, when I choose the SQ 5 OBS allows me to choose which is the source

this is a new feature I think… it had the same limitations in Windows before
an aggregated device could be a possible solution

I had some limitation with a Focusrite Scarlet 8i6 but none with a SQ which I used since November 2020. Yes, It’s very great that we can you the USB input.

    Hello to all,

Just an up. I really miss this feature on the SQ 5.
It would be great to see only the inputs associated with each mix (aux, subgroups).
Any chance to do so ?

Here, an answer from A&h :

There is no automatic way to do this in the SQ. You could do this by using a combination of input channel libraries and manually storing/recalling the channels to move them. But this will only store and recall the processing settings for the channel and not the routing.

This feature was requested previously and has been looked at by the developers. Unfortunately, due to the risks this feature would introduce it was found not possible to implement. If you have any suggestions for an alternative that may work for you, please let me know!

    I hoppe we’ll find a workaround.

    Thanks for your reply.

Of course, for last minute input I can use a new input and freely put them where i want. I also have planned to use some spare input to deal with new entries.

My original message was in the case I want to reorganized my I/P patching while following my input list. For exemple : you want to add extra mic on your drum. On the SQ the new bottom snare mic will be my input 25 (for exemple) – can be confusing.

It would be simpler to have a possibility to insert a new entry and move all the others to keep the order consistent.

I know that the SQ offers a lot of freedom in the organisation of the layers. However, there is still a logical order in the entries for meters, patching, strip assign.
