There are two switches in I/O port 2 (see attached image).
You need to:
1) Back up your show file
2) Power off the system
3) Flip switch #1 into ON position
4) Power up system, and let it boot up fully
5) Power back off
6) Put switch #1 back to initial position
thanks. looks like ill be contacting support.
Thanks for the help but I don’t mean to sound stupid, but how do I need to proceed? Do I need to plug the SLink from the console into the each box by themselves for a period of time for the firmware to update? I just not grasping why the boxes work with the QU but not the Avantis.
please explain “connecting them alone.” Do I connect one and then send firmware update from console and then connect the other by itself and then resend firmware again? Is that what you mean?
Yes. And when both are connected, regular mics seem to work as well. It’s just phantom power that seems to be the real issue that I can tell.
Also, why on the status window does the SLink shows that DX 1 Primary Link A has a check and B has an X. on the secondary has link checked. since the secondary is the one I’m having issues with, one would think that the secondary one would be the one with the X.
So I have two blue ready lights on both units now. I’ve swapped SLink around and the second now the first works properly with assigned phantom power indicators shown. Switched it back with same results as originally issue.
As shown in the this last pic, is the block of inputs 17-24 correct with the setup of (2) AB168?
Update. I’m not getting phantom power to the 2nd stage box when it connect to Avantis even though I have the channels assigned as such.
Got it. Thanks
“Then you need to check all the connections.
Is there a link light on the LAN (not WAN) port of the router. Is there a link light on the network (not dSnake) port of the QU.
Is the QU set to DHCP?”-
Yes to all
Yes

There is no IP addrsss showing up on the mixer. It is blank.
Should the mixer show the IP address in the “diagnostics screen”?
