I’d love to be able to walk up the the LV and solo his mix in my ears as I’m adjusting it without the FOH guy having to keep an eye on me to see which person I’m mixing for at the moment.
You can pfl any of the mixes just click on the GEQ tab
And you’ll see the pfl button. Just not able to pfl input channels.[]
2012/11/21 at 1:40 am #32191Maybe it’s possible to hook up a PL10 controller to the planet network port
and assign one of the rotaries to delay time….If you have one…
Or try a midi controller….2012/11/21 at 1:35 am #32190The app will only ever see the main rack so only the first 64 channels and not the second rack or expander.
How many inputs in total are you using from both racks?
If it fits within 64 then is it not possible to just use say the first 32
from the idr10 for your wireless mics etc then set up inputs 33 upwards
so the input is patched from port B which is the second rack?Should just be a whole bunch of input patching
If you use more than 64 inputs then just fit what he needs in his monitors
within the first 64….. Although I think 65 and up can only be sourced from the
second rack…
Save your channels in libraries and don’t forget to tick recall head amp gainI’ve not used dual rack in ages but I think it should work that way….
I tend to use dante to fire stuff between racks but that limits you to 64
Channels anyway…Good luck

I still get some ‘static’ on playback or it sounds like the Dante card is clipping, with no clipping on the desk — is that possible… will poke around some more.
Carl.
It’s a clock issue. Double check in your dante controller software that its preferred master (which you’ve done) and that the sync to external clock box is checked too. It needs to get its clock from the desk. Also your desk should get its clock from internal not port B.
[] good luck
2009/02/06 at 9:05 pm #24171yeah asymetric filters…..hmmmm…dolby lake style like the mesa filter maybe? that’d be cool….it was myself and ben with the wireless networking stuff at o2, good fun…well you’re not going to break stuff if you don’t try are you?[}]
2008/11/02 at 8:47 pm #24096we’re out on tour with alphabeat using two ilive112’s
so far no probs running on vista[:p]i even mixed some shows on the editor where my foh desk wouldn’t fit… so i left it at the stage end with the monitor board and just ran a cat5 cable to foh….one show we needed to load out real quick so i just ran it with a wireless router! bish bash bosh job’s a good ‘un! not ideal, a bit like mixing one handed….but it got the job done and gave me the sound i wanted….
hey get this…..we did a couple of shows in europe where space was at a premium so we just brought in the monitor board…i ran a cat5 to foh and we both operated the same desk! i just loaded my channel and fx library and set up my important stuff on the bottom layer….and neither of us were aware of any interference from the other user![}] and the desk was doing 6 stereo in ear mixes 6 mono wedge mixes 5 fx sends and of course my stereo aux mix for foh! no falling over, no busy messages just getting the job done!
