    Hi Jason,
Not sure if you got an answer otherwise, but I’ve chatted with American music and sound in the US and been told this is a bug when using DT stage boxes… A&H is aware, and supposed to fix it in v1.1 that’s coming sometime before the turn of the next century….

    Just thought I’d share….

Well, I got a gvision unit with the correct configuration, it seems to work partially, I can’t launch the calibration utility though… Can’t seem to figure that out…
    Probably not helpful…

any updates here? I also have this issue, and use editor, Qlab and Reaper all the time on the same machine, editor dying in the background is painful when you need to make quick changes.

    Thanks!

Curious… is the ability to read Dante channel names just not requested yet? because here’s for that. it would be quite handy….

    Thanks!

+1 for offline editor, I do mostly Theatre gigs, and being able to set up the names, grouping, and button assignments ahead of time would be so much more efficient… spinning the knob to name groups, and pick channels is painful on 8 or so units. (everyone wants something different, but I don’t have the same folks all the time to train how to setup themselves)

You’re kidding right?? Just one engineer?
And Apple just let loose “El capitan” due out in the next couple months… Are you actually going to catch up? Or are those of us that invested in this “flagship” system, screwed, and should look to get rid of it, instead of purchasing more…?

Any updates here? is it possible to get my hands on even a beta version?

I generally do a lot of offline programming for theatre, and missed this when checking software compatibility with Yosemite… now I’m screwed a bit…

I have a Yamaha Ro8-D and use it regularly for this exact reason, I can confirm it works most of the time. the issue I have is now and again, on start up it doesn’t subscribe properly to all of it’s Dante network outputs, and I have to restart it. it’s 1 or 2 out of every 30 shows though, so not a big deal, and I think it’s related to the start up sequence, I just haven’t really messed with it.

it has never failed during a show or rehearsal, just on initial start up.

    Thanks!

Thanks Ray, yes, that’s what I’m doing now, however for the production, my mixrack and pc will be a couple hundred feet apart, linked via wifi for control, and gig ethernet for dante recording. Qlab will be running on a separate machine and I’m not sure of the capibilities there….

Also Ray, I think it is supported, see https://www.allen-heath.com/UK/CategoryDocuments/iLive%20TCPIP%20Protocol%20V1.8%20iss2.pdf I just can’t make it work with the built in MIDI stuff in the Mac, for some reason….

Stix, thats not a bad idea, I wanted to reduce the points of failure, but if I can’t make the midi via IP work, then these 2 options are all I have.

Thanks for the replies guys, if anyone has the ip midi working, how’d you do it?

iDR32, Dante, mixpad, editor on a Macbook Pro, Reaper for recording
