If you mean the green lights in teh select,
test your GEQ Button. if it is on,
The green LEDs are only on, if your GEQ is exactly in the nutreal Position.
I dont know whre i can bether explain in english

the alt-out option is a very fine solution, but we use an AB168 Stage Box und i will use the LAN transfer to the monitor on stage for aur choir leader.
i have found, that there is no way to select Alt-out to dsnake expander in the ab168, only main-LR pre.
but this is not possible to regulation from the mixer stand

the main problem is, that our choir leader is standing on the stage, this is behind the main PA, so he is not hearing the totally mix.
so he thinks that the voices are to loud or the akkordeon are to soft, and so on
therefor i will test an LR monitoring.

i think the reasen was that in the ab168 was extra hardware preamps.
in my tests i think that is the point to use the ab168 for not so loud dynamic mikes
we love that feature

if the problem is not fixed, pls check out every kabel !
I had the same probleme if one of the multicore cable was damaged. i.e. short circuit between two lines (1<>2 oder 2<>3)
sometime it was a broken line
