why not use simple tablet pc via desktop-remote?

the problem you´ll get with an ipad is, that you must be carefull with the touch!
you may change parameter, if you touch the ipad accidental!
that´s what not gonna happen, if you use an tablet pc.

an analoge-board has it´s own weak-points, like powersupply and outboard equipment and defect´s caused by old age!

in the digital world you´ve to accept that the systems may be instable. my experience is that yamaha products are not more reliable than other digital boards.

so, the general way back to analoge boards, in my mind, is defenite the wrong way!

the led-lights from a&h are dimmable! that´s a great feature you won´t have with usb-llghts.

that´s not right!
there is no phase-option at the mixer configuration!

it´s possible to realise the lpf and hpf on output if you select the 20-20khz free filter option on the outputs.

hi,

your first question:
if you press the mix-button at an input channel, you can see the active buses (exclusiv DCA) in the mix channels window.

your second(or first) question:
yes, it´s possible to store separate channels with every option, like gain, pan…just have a look at the “edit” at the scene menue.

i think you just have to give every unit a unique ip-adress.
there should be no problem with a different ip-adress to connect to your R72.

you can leave the mtx faders on 0db, when you feed the mtx!
you simply set the level-mix to the mtx that you want.
you defenitly don´t need an output trim!
