Hii everybody,
just want to push up this suggestion again since it wasn’t considered in the last firmware update (1.3).
Linking or Ganging of channels (at least 2) and having the option to select parameters that needs to be linked or not.
At least like the “linking function” we have in the QU.
And yes…..I know that we are able on SQ to switch 2 mono inputs to one stereo channel, however this is not the same.
And processing two mono channels by copy the settings from one to the other is not an option.
Finally:
+1 for linking/gangin with selectable parameters

Unfortunately not, no Ganging/Linking
And no HPF on the Auxes….
Dear Keith,
thanks for your information.
Does this recognition via email only applies to the shop updates since I haven’t received one regarding the firmware update.
To be honest, not really a problem at all. Just because I’m curious π

Hi SPEVS,
it’s not because of the wrong XLR setting, it’s because you haven’t use the second output.
If you switch an Aux to stereo you have to patch (I/O screen) left AND right to the output socket.
What you have done is only to use one side of the stereo signal by using just one XLR cable in one Socket.
Does that makes sense?

Itβs a small LED inside.
Mine is blinking in the same sequence as well (SQ5)
However what it really is needs to be answered from technical support.
Hi monki,
check out this link.
There are some SQ related devices mentioned as well.
There are 2 options to record.
SQ-Drive: With the USB socket on the upper right of the console by using an USB-Stick or a harddisk drive (SSD works best due to speed). But limited to 16 channels.
USB-B: USB-B connection on the rear of the SQ for a connection to a computer. Record of 32 inputs is possible. So you can connect to a DAW or any software that allows multi channel recording like “Tracks Live”.
Both connections can be used for playback as well.

+1 for at least linking functions like in QU. Ganging would be better

But note, copying by pressing “copy” and “select” (of the channel you want to copy from) copies the whole processing parameters (incl. HPF, Gate, EQ, Compressor).
If you want to copy single parameter e.g. only the EQ you need to press the EQ-In button instead of the Select button of the channel you want to copy from.
Hi Jens,
many thanks for your feedback, appreciate.
So we need to wait for upcoming updates π
