Make sure you plugged it into the A socket! First time I connected mine in cascade, I plugged it into the B socket, which is highlighted in white, thinking that was the primary one as the GigaAce on Dlive is also highlighted in white.

Wife hates it if I plug into the B socket.

My short term sollution is having the lowest softkey set to Mix+Pafl mains, and I use this instead of the clear button.

    – GEQ fader flip on softkeys.
The desks have a button for this.

Ive talked with my dealer about this too.

The problem with the scenes is that you CAN unsafe the on/off status. But if the channel doesn’t have routing assigned it doesn’t save this state. So to have a OFF button, you’ll have to do all the assignments and then turn them all off, save that scene for the Waves OFF, and assign that to a softkey.

Nr one could be achieved by using two input channels with your TB input sent into the different setups, then assigning a mute to two softkeys. Channel safe it in global if you use a lot of scenes.

    Works perfectly, thanks ddff!

Might as well just remove the separate mix/pfl/select options and just roll it all into the type option in this subsection.

Old threat to necro back up, but a search didn’t show me any more recent topics about this suggestion.
    Basically a +1 to this.

Mostly want to be able to assign macros to Softkeys and midi inputs.
Digico has a great example of this:

Basically Id construct it like this:
    – Create a macro
+ Add in one or more functions
+ Assign macro to trigger or softkey

The main difference from the current softkey options is that it allows you to do more then one thing per button.

Another thing that can be added to this is the ability to record surface inputs into a macro, mimicing that input.

In the same vein, though I might have the setting wrong, but while I have Mix follows PFL on my surface, this function doesn’t extend into softkey PFL. So I cant do Mix+PFL on softkeys only, which would free up faders for me. This is either just a programming fix, or easy to add in with macros.
