I don’t know if it’s feasible with the technology, but I’d rather see a full-fat stage box physically based off the AR2412 with a GigaAce link to the SQ, an ME port, and a DX expander port.

One area where I know the QuSB and QuPac tend to come up a bit short is as a portable IEM system. Being able to arbitrarily assign all outputs to a series of stereo mixes rather than have locked down mix assignments like the QuSB would be huge by itself.

More color options would be helpful.

On the routing screen of the Qu16, you can change the Global Direct out settings to toggle Follow fader off.

A Mix is an auxiliary mix of channels to be sent somewhere separate from the Mains mix. For example, as monitor mixes or for an FX bus. A Group is a bus for manipulating multiple channels together. For example, you could group all drum channels together then EQ/compress/control them all together for a more coherent sound, and then send that group into the LR mains rather than the individual channels. On the Qu, Groups can be switched to Mix mode. A Matrix is a mix of mixes. For example, you could take your mains output and add some boost from that drum group to create a matrix for recording.

Visual indication of active band selection on the screen would be very helpful. When I put my hand on the EQ encoders, I block my line of sight to the band selection and it becomes an easy thing to lose track of where I’m at.

The AB618 and the DX168 use different protocols for communication (dSNake and DX respectively). The SLink port can use either of those protocols, but not both at the same time. You would have to get an SLink expansion card to use both at the same time, and then connect the two stage boxes to separate SLink ports.
