    I use it on an 13.3″ Asus touchscreen. I found out that the GLD software doesn’t work while the screen resolution is 3200 x 1800, but I have to down-grade the screen resolution to 1366 x 768 and reboot the screen. Then it works on the 13″ screen.

    I also have a Dell U2711 ( 2560 x 1440 ) and if I use it with GLD Editor, it again doesn’t work. So I then down-graded it to 1600 x 900 and again it works just fine.

    So hope this helps.

    I just got a new Asus that has a screen resolution of 3200 x 1800 and trying to run the Editor was a joke. I found a work-around which was set the screen resolution to 1366 x 768; reboot the PC and then the Editor was useful. Once done, return it to “hi res” and reboot.

    Anyone hear if A&H is looking to fix this in the next Editor update?

    @chris93,
    Thanks for the information. I did search your profile, and found where you had referenced Nicola giving you a good tip ( https://community.allen-heath.com/forums/topic/any-value-to-iem-and-wedge-strips/#post-53624 ), but wasn’t able to find the original information.

    @nicola,
    Would you be able to repeat the “good tip”?

    Thanks

    In Setup-Memory, I select the show residing in my GLD112, then select information. Then if I have a USB stick plugged in, and copy that show from the GLD to the USB stick, then select that just copied show now on the USB stick and now select information, it shows a different time than the time of the original copy (residing on the GLB).

    If you copy a file in windows or Linux (cp) the date/time stamps are the same.

    BTW, did find a way to crash the GLD. See what happens if while you are updating a show, you plug in a USB stick!

    A FYI follow-up. I have been testing with various (non-wav) audio files and have been using Audacity to convert them to .wav files and so far, all tests have been successful. All you need to do is get a free download of Audacity, select File-Open and load the input file. Then select File-Export, select (Microsoft) wav and save. Then put that .wav file on an USB drive and the GLD will gladly see/play it. Remember .wav files are NOT small, so would suggest a multi-gig USB drive. Also remember to initialize (using format) the USB drive (fat 32) and use default block size. I normally do NOT use fast format to be sure that the USB drive is good.
