Replace the sq7 at foh for avantis with a waves and dante card.

In the sq 7 and x32 a dante card and you can splitt al the signals over dante.

Not the cheapist but the most cleanist solution.

i cam from qu and gld, in sound quality sq is a step forward, also with the ar2412.

For the price of the tascam with stageboxes you can also buy sq6 with addon pack’s then you have almost the same as gld.

You bought the console without proper testen if the sq5 is what you need.

I had the same problem, in my unit the psu was faulty.

Contact service to get the psu replaced.

How is it build in a case? Is there enough airflow. I used my console in 25 degrees unprotected in the sun with no problems.

Sq dante uses the hc chip. I havenend read an artikel about that replacemend.

Till that time sq dante card’s are trade for organs.

There is no ethersound card for sq serie’s, but there are 3th party solutions to convert madi or dante to ethersound. If you want to use the ethersound stage boxes, buying ar2412 with ab168 is cheaper and you have direct pre amp gain on the console instead of a laptop.

Audinate can’t deliver any brooklin card ore hc chip. They are working at an alternatif, but if you get lucky there will be somerhing end of this year. This is Information that is foundable on the internet. Every distributor can tell you this. If a&h had the card they will sell them, they can use the money.

You can send the whole band to a mix group.

Than you send the mix group to the main.

If you mute the mix group the band is muted to the main but not the monitors.

It is not only the fantom power, it is also impediance.

There is a lot writen on the internet why to use a di box en witch di box for witch instrument.

Guitar is mostly high impediance and the dx168 is low impediance, without a di box there will be a loss of sound.

I think there is something going wrong.

You buy a piece of gear that suite’s the work you have.

If an sq has al the functions you need an the correct price, you buy an sq.

If an sq doesn’t has the tools you need you buy an other piece of gear what has the tools you need, you don’t buy a piece of gear that maybe in the future get the tools your need.

For small job’s i own one of the first sq5’s for larger jobs i own a dlive.
