Yes they are. If you are in the US you can get one from somewhere like Full Compass.
2019/11/26 at 4:48 pm #87922I would select said DCA and look at the Processing screen to see if any other channels/groups are selected. Can’t really think what else it would be if it’s not a subgroup. You could also go to the Routing tab for one of the “cast” channels to see where that channel is being routed; if you’re not sure it’s part of a group.
2019/11/18 at 4:12 pm #87735Assuming you checked that the USB drive works when you put it in a computer, make sure the format of the drive is compatible. FAT32 is what I use. I’m not sure if it supports other formats. Also, plug a USB keyboard into the GLD to see if the USB ports are working. You can use it to type for the channel names, recording names, etc…
2019/09/03 at 2:40 pm #86178The only time I’ve seen this happen is when “use DHCP” was turned on and there wasn’t a DCHP server (or router) connected to the network port.

2019/03/23 at 5:00 am #82912It’s not anything wrong with your gear. It’s a glitch with DVS on some Macs. I contacted Dante because I was having the same issue on an iMac. They said they were aware of the issue but that it shouldn’t affect anything on the audio streams. They said to verify that’s what it is, use an external network dongle. Sure enough that fixed it for me. I switched back to the Macs internal NIC and although I’m having the sync issues, it works flawlessly.
2018/11/08 at 4:23 pm #79900Lol.
Just to fill in the blanks for anyone else reading this, Weeelp emailed me his show file. I loaded it and it worked right out of the box. Guessing something is going on with the software/firmware.
2018/11/07 at 5:47 pm #79865You might also try creating a new show and start from there to see if that fixed the problem. If so, your show may be corrupted. I’ve never heard of that happening, but I guess it could be possible. If you have network available on the GLD, you could connect a computer to it and save show using the GLD Editor software. If you can get that far, I don’t mind taking a look at the Show file if you want to send it.
2018/11/07 at 5:39 pm #79862Sorry, I misunderstood you. So your FX return isn’t getting to the FOH bus?
Try this: Press Processing next to the touchscreen, then select the FOH bus and go to routing on the touchscreen. Select FX Returns. Make sure your FX bus is turned “On”.

When you PAFL the FOH bus you are getting it in the headphones or just when you PAFL an individual channel?
Also, check the I/O page. It’s possible the routing got changed.
2018/10/25 at 2:37 pm #79537I’ve noticed this since day one on our surface. The thing that’s concerning to me is the more we update it the slower it gets. Once you see the login screen, there about a 10 second freeze time until you can actually input a password. In addition, when you shut down the unit, it takes 3-4 times longer than when we first got it.
I’m wondering if, when updating, would there be a way for it to install the OS from scratch and then recall your show; or is it doing that already, but the OS is so “patched” it just going to continue to get worse?
2018/08/28 at 6:54 pm #78163You can’t do it for each channel individually without affecting the main mix, but yes, you can put a compressor/EQ on the AUX bus. Alternatively, you could use a Matrix. Although the Aux will probably work better so you can adjust the mix according to the need of the overflow. We used to do the same thing for ours. The Aux worked good because you could compensate for the lack of live sound in the room to correct the overflow mix.
2018/08/06 at 1:04 am #73161Did you happen to have the fader frozen before it became unresponsive? I’ve seen a bug on the dLive system where the fader blanks out like that. Toggling the freeze function fixed it.
2018/07/16 at 8:49 pm #72715That is odd. Are the faders aftermarket or OEM? You mentioned, “Spare Part from the audio-technica Support (004-178).” Did you mean Audio-Technica or Allen & Heath?
2018/07/16 at 7:29 pm #72711That’s a tough one. It almost seems like there’s noise in the digital signal telling the system where to put the fader. I’ve never opened up one of those before but I’d check all the connectors inside. It’s possible some of them may have some oxidation from the liquid damage. It’s possible all the fader location data streams use the same bus, so if one is noisy, they all are, but don’t quote me on that. Just a speculation.
Hope you figure it out!
2018/05/28 at 4:47 pm #71323Ah, I’m following you now. Check out the four buttons between the fader banks. Gain, Pan, Custom 1, Custom 2. Those select what the rotary encoders control and what the LCD meters show.
