Well I contacted Allen and Heath, they told me to boot into the firmware. So I formatted a flash drive into FAT32, put the firmware on it, and pushed the USB and HPF buttons when I turned it ON. I could see the flash drive’s led flashing for awhile and the Pan led’s were going back and forth. I took a minute then it went to the boot screen picture and NOTHING. It’s still not working. Anymore ideas?
FYI: Allen and Heath told me to format the flash drive into FAT. FAT does not work.
They told me to contact my local distributor. We will see how that goes tomorrow.

It is on a surge protector and power conditioner.
We tried a couple of times to hard reset it. Held the buttons for more than 5 seconds.
We just figured out the mixer is 1 year and 1 month old.

2016/10/01 at 1:16 pm #58481Here is my setup:
I have one Qu-32. It has a a XLR snake that goes to the stage. Mix1 is the Floor Monitors, Mix2 is the Choir Monitors, Mix3 is the feed to other rooms in the church, Mix4 is the Feed going back to the computer to record the sermons.
The Qu-32 is set to all the basic settings. We don’t use it for anything other than sound. We don’t record on the mixer. We don’t have a stage box. We use it with just the most basic settings and setup.
I also have a CD player connected to it via 1/4 inch to (RCA) and it also isn’t Post Fader controlled but I want it to be. I can plugin a true XLR device and it will be magically Post Fader controlled.
It must be an issue with the Qu-32. I will try all the suggestions when I return from my mini vacation on Monday.
Thank You all for your time and suggestions. If these suggestions don’t fix it, I will make a YouTube video showing you it happening.
2016/09/30 at 7:52 pm #58472I’m self taught so I don’t know all the correct words to use. But I do understand what I’m doing. 😌 at least for the most part.
My Mixer is in my Church. We have multiple mics, guitars, cd player, piano, organ, computer.
I use the computer to play audio and video files. When playing anything with the computer, I want the ability to control (Mix1, Floor Monitors) post fader. I can’t do that on my Qu-32, at least not with a 1/4 inch plugin, which is coming from my computer. With the knowledge I have I can’t make it anymore clear.
I can take the same channel and plug a wireless MIC setup in with XLR and it works fine. When I lower the Channel fader the Floor monitors shut off also. But not when the computer is hooked on it.
2016/09/30 at 6:28 pm #58470I looked at that setting and it is Post Fadar. I even changed the 1/4 inch to other channels that are definetly setup for Post Fadar and it still didn’t work. That’s when I bought an XLR to 1/4 inch adapter (picture on original post) and that didn’t work either. I’m stumped. Like you said above, the XLR and 1/4 inch should be linked inside the Qu-32. I’m on v1.9.
Is there a setting in the main menu that turns this On and Off?
2016/09/30 at 4:52 pm #58465I’ll try to explain better.
I have my computer plugged into the Qu-32 with 1/4 inch mono plug. I want the monitors (Mix1) on the stage to go off when I pull down the Fader, just for that channel, for the main speaker.
Does that make better sense?
