@SteffenR As I suggested earlier, constantly adding and removing mics from the automix just so I can PFL them is tedious and impractical. No respectable automix implementation works this way. PFLing a muted mic while it’s part of an automix is a task performed many times a day in a broadcast environment.
@SteffenR PFL post preamp is not suitable as I need to eq the mic while I’m PFL’ing. I think the only complete solution to the issue is for the AMM point to be configurable in the signal chain. Open to other suggestions though.
This is such a perfect little desk for smaller broadcast jobs but in its current state the AMM is near useless, which seems like such a waste of potential.
+1 for more matrices!
Absolutely agree. Top notch support, very helpful and accessible staff. Thanks A&H!
Definitely +1 for this. I never use SQ4you but often want 3 Mixpad sessions at once. It’s frustrating to have network bandwidth reserved for things I don’t use and not available for the things I need.

Understood. Thanks mate. I might see if it will work with multiple partitions on the drive as a workaround.
Basic MP3 playback would be very handy for house music
This would be incredibly useful. Both for signal flow and also for the ability to send every channel through a Waves rack (keeping phase coherency) and still having an insert slot available for hardware or FX units etc.

Of course it does, it’s a different desk from an entirely different manufacturer. Hence my feature request for alternative ways to achieve the desired result, along with a suggestion for how it might be implementable.
Thanks Stefan but that doesn’t really address my usage case at all. I use analog comps on inserts, always connected to the same physical I/O, but need to be able to quickly patch them to different channels. Maybe a different vocal that I wasn’t told about for a song or two, or an acoustic guitar for a support act, or whatever… But it is very tedious to repatch the whole thing from scratch. On a Soundcraft Si for example you setup an insert, and then assign that insert to any channel, which can be done very quickly. That solution would not be practical on an SQ but being able to load up an insert patching that was previously saved would be extremely useful.

+1, it would be very handy to pink out the whole PA from the sig gen screen
