    Hi JPage,
You can attach your logs to a support ticket at http://support.allen-heath.com/
    Are you running V1.91?
Are you using Gain Sharing / do you have a gigaACE card in the system with Gain Sharing enabled? If so, do the errors stop if you disable Gain Sharing?

What version of iOS is the iPhone running?
Does the app display the login screen or does it show the error message straightaway?
If the login screen is displayed, is the Avantis listed in the discovered units?
Is it possible that you have the ‘Auto Connect’ option enabled, and that the network settings of the unit or iPhone have changed since your last successful connection? You can disable this option by swiping right from the right border of the app.

    Hi Chad,

You need to contact your dealer, installer/integrator or our distribution partner in the US I’m afraid.
User profiles and passwords are stored in the MixRack. Posting the reset procedure on a public forum would defeat the purpose of password protection.

I think orange.seba was asking specifically about Waves cards, not Dante.
But the answer is the same, yes you can. And yes, the Waves card will need to be set to 48kHz.

    Hi Wolfgang,

We’re looking into this. I can reproduce the problem here, and will hopefully fix for the next release.

    Hi Jeppe,

Can you confirm you recalled your Show file after the firmware update, as that’s always recommended?
And are the issues present when loading a template Show?
If so, please raise a ticket with our Support team at support.allen-heath.com and we can look into this for you.
Please include your Logs and any error shown in the Home screen.

Yes, the M-Waves V2 is indeed supported, but bear in mind it’s 48kHz only and the firmware might receive less maintenance updates from Waves in future as the card is no longer in production.

    Hi,

You can find several threads on this forum on the topic. Also read the article at https://support.allen-heath.com/hc/en-gb/articles/4403292650641-ME-Compatibility-with-third-party-switch particularly regarding Layer 3 functions and power requirements. So in short, if your switch total power budget is enough to power all units, and you can configure it correctly, this should work.

I’m afraid the answer is no, SQ does not work with the XDR16.
The SQ SLink port is compatible with dSnake expanders (AR2412, AR84, AB168), DX expanders and DX Hub, GX4816, ME, and supports connections to other SLink or gigaACE equipped systems.

Can you share you clock settings for the dLive and the Waves card?
Typically the dLive would be set to Internal, and the Waves card to ‘Digital’ which means it will sync from the dLive clock. Incorrect clock settings can cause clicks, pops and, if the clock drift is significant, audio dropouts.

You are correct that the Emphasis control for the OptTronik gets reset in V1.90 due to changes in its behaviour. There is a warning to this effect at the top of the Release Notes but it wrongly mentions Libraries only. In addition to the variable Emphasis as it existed in V1.8, we added two fixed modes with an 80Hz HPF and an 80Hz-5kHz band pass. These of course operate on the sidechain, not on the compressor output.

Two other models had minor changes. The Opto compressor has some improvements to the Transient and Burn behaviour (but there is no ‘reset’ of settings in this case and the differences are very subtle), and the de-esser now has three filter types.

    @RS

    – We are aware the IP controller setting is catching people out. The plan is to make the setting persistent.
    – You are correct that HTTP browser access is blocked from V1.9 because of the new security options added to dLive. We now encourage users to do firmware updates via Director. You can re-enable HTTP access by switching the MixRack jumper JP3 to the On position if necessary, for example for a firmware downgrade.

We are investigating graphics performance with V1.9 Director on certain computer hardware. Please bear with us, we might have a solution in the next maintenance release.

    msteel is spot on.

Show files are stored in the Surface or Director.
Scene data and current mix settings as follows:
    – Strip Layout, brightness/dimmer settings, Soft Rotary / SoftKeys assignments, MIDI fader settings are stored in the Surface
    – All other Scene data including channel name, colour, processing, routing, patch is stored in the MixRack

To answer some of the questions:

    > So, when you store a scene using a surface, does it store into the surface AND into the MixRack?
    Yes, as per above.

    > Can these get out of sync so that if a surface is connected with a different set of scenes than the MixRack, and you recall a scene using MIDI/TCP, which scene gets recalled?
MIDI/TCP controls the MixRack. If a Surface is connected, the same Scene number will be recalled on the Surface.
Yes, potentially the two can be out of sync. The recommendation is to always recall a Show file first when you connect a Surface and MixRack which were not previously operating together. Recalling a Show file forces all correct Scene data to both Surface and MixRack, and ensures they are in sync.

    > When using more than 1 surface or a surface and Director, when I store a scene, do the scenes in the other surfaces get updated?
No, the Scene data in the MixRack gets updated, but the Surface data is only updated by the local Surface instigating the Store.

    > I understand there are “surface only” recalls, but does that apply to director too?
Yes, when running in MixRack only mode Director behaves like any other Surface with regards to multi-surface operation.

    > If you had a MixRack full of scenes, and plugged in a surface with no scenes, will the MixRack scenes populate the surface?
You would see Scenes in the Scene list to indicate there is valid Scene data in those Scene memories. Again, recalling a Show file would ensure the Surface and MixRack data match.
