This would be a great feature on Avantis, as our Frontline musicians are on St Aux IEMs so I can talk to them, but not the rest of the band on ME1s.

dSnake is a protocol by A&H, you are correct the box pictured is just an adapter, there is nothing digital about that box.
You can use the AR2412, AR84 or the SB168 originally designed for the GLD but made compatible with the newer consoles also.

This works with Dsnake if you’re using one of the Allen and Heath boxes that are also made for the GLD.

That is the way the system was originally designed to work.
If you can’t get everything you want in the Aviom’s then group a few things on an Aux or group and feed that to one of the Aviom channels.

An extra custom screen or two would be great, I use I very different setup most evenings vs mornings, but most mornings are the same so I am always having to set up the screens again each time.

Also ability to name Softkeys, we have many assigned to mute/unmute FXs but on the iPad you have to memorize what is what on the board we used a small label maker.

Agree that login should follow permissions set on GLD but haven’t run into many problems yet as only two of use regularly use the app.

Not sure why everyone needs another meter screen but it could be useful for some, I just use the meters on the faders as my meter screen, can watch my gates and compressors there too.(love it) 🙂

I know this is an old post and I Hope you got this resolved, but here is my two cents.
The fact that it is the same channel on both boards I would say you have a hardware problem.
If it moved around or was on multiple channels I would suspect the cable first, make sure it is a Cat 5E or Cat 6 STP (shielded twisted pair).

A&H recommends shielded Cat 5E for installs, and that’s what I used, but some of my shorter cables are not shielded and they are fine.

You mentioned the levels changing are groups and DCA’s, they will change as they are output buses.
The individual inputs can be raw feeds depending on settings of where the Dante is fed from.
