Been using the P Clip style AC cable retainer for the last 15 years at least on various A&H products never had one fall out or the cable break yet, even being bounced around in trucks, planes etc. The right angle ones are a good idea but as the XLR’s and network connections stick out at least 50mm don’t see an issue. Now if someone deliberately removes the connector whilst being used that is a security problem not an equipment short coming
There are a number of locking IEC C13 connectors on the maket, whilst very good they do tend to be a little longer than normal in my experience, good for in the back of equipment racks where access is restricted to stop them shaking loose if there are no convenient lacing bars to tie off to.
    Just my four pennyworth.

Might I suggest that you sort out some proper training for this, a complete back to basics approach and not just console specific.
Covering each section of the mixer in a logical fashion should pay dividends. It really does not matter if this is an analogue or a digital cosole, the process is broadly the same.
There are a number of good books which cover these and other useful PA related issues if you can’t get personal tuition at the moment due to the current pandemic restrictions.

How about using two media converters 100Mb Ethernet to Fibre, in Multimode you should get up to 550m??

As long as you can turn it off that will be fine.😎

Not sure if it is approved but I use a soft cloth moistend with Isopropyl Alcohol (99% pure) that kills most things, disipates rapidly and leaves no residue.

There are a few of us that keep various spares for the iLive series, myself I only keep the modular series and a few expanders, nothing really for the T series.
The remote audio boards can be an issue if they go wrong I have not found a way of fixing them. Generally if treat with a little respect they are quite reliable.

Is it not in the D Pack add on package for Avantis??? Not sure I would consider purchase of an Avantis without the Deep Processing package.
Just my opinion of course. πŸ™‚

Use my SQ5 with a DX32/DX012 combination most of the time had to slot in a remote DX hub but it makes for a very powerful and flexible system. Possibly not the cheapest way to do this but as the DX gear etc and I/O cards are from existing stock made perfect sense.
    Bring on the Prime cards.πŸ˜‰

I am with you Steffan, me I have trouble with all these silly cartoon pictures that masquerade as instructions, why we can’t have plain instruction in a suitable language as in days gone buy beats me. I just put it down to being old.🀨

Strikes me Steffan R is on the money, as someone has mentioned if the UPS is not on mains to begin with it may not power up, this is certainly the case with my APC 1500va that sits at the bottom of my stage rack. It comfortably powers a DM64 (one of the two PSU’s connected to raw mains) a DX32 (again one of two PSU’s connected to raw mains) plus one of a pair of gigabit media converters. There is also an auxiliary feed from the UPS to a second DX32 when required. It powers all of these easily from the approximate 1Kw of power available from the unit, giving about 10-15 minutes of run time. Certainly long enough to shut the system down.

I have a separate small (approximately 500va) unit rack mounted in a space underneath my surface, this unit is more than capable of powering the surface for a good 20 minutes along with one of the two media converters at the surface.

This type of system has worked well both on my D Live also on a couple of iLive systems for a number of years.

OK confused here how come only 92 Prime I/O channels I would have thought 96 was possible (3 X DX32 expanders 32 channels each) = 96 channels don’t think my maths fail me.
Could you not add a DX hub also to allow 4 X DX32’s giving 128 Prime channels. Mind you I would guess that would be an expensive shopping list. πŸ™‚
    They do sound stunning though.

Have to be honest I have used the feature loads and it does work, true it is picky on the type of USB stick one uses (there is a recommended list on the A&H website), there is also a time/ size of file limitation on the recording, can’t remember exactly but I think it is about 2 hours. I have also noticed that over time the previous recordings made on a USB drive seems to deterioriate, only cure seems to be to format the drive and start again, the best success I have had is using an SSD drive again formatted to the console, the particular device I use happens to be a Western Digital but I am sure others will work just as well.
I have also used the Maxtor USB 3 hard drives these seem pretty good but not as rugged as an SSD obviously.
Finally if the recording is critical I would want to use an external recording device and more than one as I don’t trust any form of recording media alone.

They sound pretty realistic to me, certainly as good as my previous relatively hi end favourite modelling Pre amp. I use them quite a lot on my D Live, I find some modern PA systems a little harsh and the nature of the Pre amp in some respects counters this without reaching for the EQ controls. Again I tend to go with if I like the sound and is it pertinent ? If the answer to both is yes go with it.πŸ˜‰
